What “no win no fee” means
A no-win no-fee (NWNF) arrangement allows you to pursue an employment claim without paying legal fees upfront.
Instead, payment is only made if your case succeeds, usually taken as a percentage of any compensation you receive. This type of agreement makes legal action possible for people who might otherwise worry about the financial risk.
It’s important, however, to understand the terms. Not every case is suitable, and “winning” can mean different things depending on the agreement. That’s why employees should always get independent advice before signing anything.
